This is another UDFA I knew next to nothing about. This of causes me to ask where did you find out about him as my UDFA sources don’t include hiim. This of course causes me to wonder about the accuracy of my other purported signings.

These UDFA signings are perpetually a source of some frustration to me as many report they have signed when they are only a camp invite. Oh well.

It's still just 28. You had him on your list, just not on the depth chart.

I've been looking at Bryan Mone's contract and I'm pretty sure he's getting cut soon, as he's due a $500K roster bonus June 1.

He would receive the maximum injury protection pay which is $2,050,000. The way the CBA reads, though, only $1,230,000 of that counts against the cap. That plus his remaining bonus pro-ration of $1M would leave his dead cap at $2.23M. His current cap figure is $3.675K so the team would save $1.445 in 2023 cap.

This wouldn't help much in the short term as the rule of 51 would add back $750K, but it would be real dollars going into the season when things will get pretty tight.
