I showed Chris Garrett as already #48 when he was on the PS last year. Weird.

I wondered about that myself, but it is not unusual for the team’s media folks to post nonsense from time to time. However even the partially correct info is appreciated. It seems at times there is a disconnect between the actual team and it’s media reporting.

No worries, all you good folks will help me with prompt posting of info and I will update as quickly as I can. My reliable colleagues here will keep folks updated I’m sure.

Sunday will be problematic for me as I will be away from a computer with a commitment all day so the UDFA additions will be updated slower than usual.

I’ll catch up quickly though and make sure the the thread stays accurate.

Just a heads up for all posting updates regarding UDFA additions please be sure of your sources b/c there is a lot of choppy misinformation where signings that haven’t happened are reported, or the team or player changes their mind. There are often tryouts reported as signings and vica versa. Be careful to check your info and ensure it is from a reliable source.

That said I’m excited to see what the draft brings. There will in all likelihood be a big UDFA class as well as the team presently only has 52 players under contract, and 10 draft picks which may expand some with Trader John machinations.

NFLPA updated the Seahawks available cap space, and somehow we lost $1.5M without having any actual player moves.

Team will need to work some contracts in order to sign their draft picks. There are a few guys (Diggs, Adams, Lockett) they could do and make enough to get through the draft, but probably not enough to add any significant new contracts.

As the draft begins, its interesting that the Seahawks cap space has shrunk to $4,735,554. While the effective cap space is listed by OTC at minus ($4,712,761).

According to this our first rounders are going to be numbers 11 and 21

I’d take it with a grain of salt though as the last article they published had Bush as 11 and they say it was Goodwins number

Thanks my friend, but I’ll wait as resolution of these numbers often involve some horse trading.

Appreciate your input greatly.

Offensive and defensive guys will sometimes have the same number in the off-season, then it gets sorted out after final cuts.
