Sorry to pick nits here, but one terminology note. When a player is cut from the practice squad, he is not waived, as there is no waiver process. He's automatically free and clear. Not that you need to go back and change your whole worksheet. The official term they use is "deletion" which seems kind of cold. I just usually say cut.

In the same way, vested veterans are not waived, they are "terminated". Again, sort of harsh but that's the NFL!
