Seahawks waive RB-Troymaine Pope from the PS and add WR- Malachi Dupre

Dupre was drafted by the Packers in the 7th rd. and played for LSU. Releasing Pope makes sense as McKissic is now practicing.

How many RBs does the team need? They now have 6, including the invisible FB, and Pope is surplus to needs.

Pope is an interesting example of a player who flashed but perhaps isn’t better than those here.

McKissic to me has more stuff and if activated will push Prosise further down the DC which again raises the question of what to do with Prosise who flashed but isn’t better than the other 4 real RBs.

There are three available spots 1 on the 53 man roster, and 2 now on the PS. Given the the loss of Daniels to the Cardinals I agree about them adding back a TE to the PS or the 53. I can see Reynolds coming back to the PS if he clears waivers. There is now also an open roster spot for JD McKissic who is the likely add to the 53.

Rostermon confirms that in fact JD McKissic has been reactivated to the 53 and Tyrone Swoopes has been re-signed to the PS along with with Keenan Reynolds.
