Yeah. I never understood why people were saying we were better when only 1 hitter is known for actually hitting the ball consistently (Donovan) and he hasn't even done that. a team full of .200 hitters will ALWAYS be a recipe for disaster. Some extra long balls can mask that a little bit like it did last year but the law of averages shows that will come back to earth like it is this year.The Mariners had one hit in the game. One.
The piggyback plan worked just fine. That loss is on the impotent lineup and their inability to hit.
