Broncos and Rams finished with the same record of 5-12. The first pick with either be 5th or 6th depending on whatever tiebreakers are used to position draft picks.

Things really change over the next few months plus the Seahawks dance to a different drummer. Let's see what the Senior Bowl/Shrine game plus combine shows them. If the cream separates to those top 4 players, the Hawks can trade up if need be (they never do though).

Right now, I would be okay with:

1.5 Myles Murphy
1.20 Trenton Simpson
2.5 Gervon Dextor
2.20 Antonio Johnson

Late round flier on Isaiah McGuire from Missouri.

Damn ME3 and the Donks can't do anything right. Oh well, 5 is still fantastic and John will trade down for a king's ransom if there isn't a player available that he's in love with.

Five is a nice spot because we know the Bears are not taking a QB with their first pick.

Houston in theory may take a QB with their first pick but stranger things have happened before.

Seahawks have a surplus of draft capital.

Russel Wilson needed to finish well as a spring board into the next season. Good for him.

I still think Levis could work if we could bring him along slowly. He kind of reminds me of Big Ben. It will be fascinating to see if Young and Stroud go before him.

Well I am the OP and hate that I saw this coming. Worst football watching day in a looong time outside of Hawks win.

I'm guessing we pick 6th now.

edit: according to ESPN.

It wouldn't be the first time ESPN got it wrong.

Strength of schedule (SOS) is used to break any ties between teams who have identical records at the end of the season. The team with the lower strength of schedule gets the higher selection in the tie break. SOS is the aggregate winning percentage of a team’s opponents.

I believe the tiebreaker is strength of schedule the Rams had a higher SOS so they're #6 while the Seahawks #5.

All we needed was the guy on the Colts to bay the ball that went through his hands down and the game was over. This cost us the 3rd pick. SMH

I don't know much about college football. Any chance Carter falls to 5?
