McVag is going to go all in this next season, Stafford was questionable to come back this year and then went all in I think due to how they lost, once Stafford is retired who do they have waiting in the wings? McVag is on competition committee also I think, he is going to lobbie his ass off to get advantages for himself. Thier window is closing, they won't be terrible but they won't have the edge at QB they have had unless they get lucky in the draft or make another Veteran trade.
McVag will quit

Burrow. The Rams are not afraid to take risks. They've taken huge swings on trades in the past. It's how they got Stafford and they weren't afraid to eat huge cap space on Goff. Talib, Cooks, Ramsey, Marcus Peters, Von Miller etc. They went years at one point without a first round pick.

Burrow wants to leave supposedly. Next year I think is the last year of his deal or close to it. I think the Bengals may be forced into taking a haul for him.

There is a potential out clause there after 2027.

Enjoy the W and quit trying to find ways to lessen the the result by questioning if the team could have done it better. So what if they gave up a lot of yardage to the Rams the final result on the scoreboard was a W. Think on this, the team shut out the Rams (the team with the best O in the NFL) in the 4th Q. They bent but did not break.

In in the end vs. the Rams the team finally overcame and simply outplayed them in the end. The D made a lot of great plays and Sam was on point. The final differential of 4 points was less than it should have been save for the stupid taunting penalty then brain dead moment immediately following by our dumbass CB- Wollen.

I think of things this way the team was better in the end than the Rams were and simply solved their schneid with the 9ers.

We demand perfection though

No defense is perfect. The Rams had the best offense in the NFL and averaged 28 on us. The cardinals averaged 21 the Titans got 23 and the Bucs got 38.

I have no doubt the defense will be strong again next season but there will be those games here and there where teams get over on us.

Really? Perfection?

I thought the real thing we want is for the team to get the Ws. Every W looks pretty nice compared to a L.

I don't take Thursday games all that seriously as an indication of anything.

I was joking. But I also want to see the hawks have a perfect season. I want to have an all world dynasty. Is it just too early for us to discuss areas this championship team can get even more championship? Is there no more up to get to? I know the ops intention is not to complain. When I said perfect it was hyperbole and a joke, but it’s still the target

Jimmy G does not scare me, he has a slower delievery, Staffords is not, not as fast as Marino but fast, that and he's fearless in the pocket and will take a shot to make a play. Jimmy G I think takes shots to play by the way he looks sometiomes.

Enjoying the season and looking for improvents are not mutually exclusive. IMO, This is a Kaizen event and the Rams O has been identified as the biggest opportunity. Just the way some folks think...myself included.

What did the Panthers and Falcons do to counter McVay and Stafford. I assume MM will lean in on that. Assuming the 9ers and Lambs play week 1, It will be interesting to see how well Morris does for the 9ers. He might have the key to expose them.

SO-KRATES
My roomates and I rented that VHS and kept it for more than a year. Blazing 420 and watching it after our Saturday night closing shift at Chili's was a weekly event.

Ted: Now your dad's going for it in your own room!
Bill: Shut up, Ted.
Ted: Your stepmom *is* cute, though.
Bill: Shut up, Ted!
Ted: Remember when I asked her to the prom?
Bill: SHUT UP, TED!
Ted: Your stepmom's cute, remember when she was a senior and we were freshmen?
Bill: Shut up Ted!
