I think the way this thing is going (shutting out Boldin-game changing pick six) that award seems pretty likely. I would guess before the season started Geno Atkins or JJ Watt would have been front runners, but Sherman, on this defense could run away with it.

MVP may even be a consideration.

Peyton Manning has MVP locked up if he keeps this up.

But Sherman's not playing too badly. Think he should have about 3 more interceptions already, he's got a case of the 2012 Earl Thomas', where he keeps getting into position to make big plays and dropping them. But at least we've still got to face Bradford twice, Palmer twice, Eli Manning and Christian Ponder among others

If JJ Watt couldn't get MVP last year, there's no way a defensive player is taking it away from Peyton Manning this year.

Yeah. You're correct. I only meant consideration, but I hadn't thought of Peyton Manning. How not? I think he is so good that he bores me.

I love me some Sherm but the Pats Aqib Talib is having a fantastic season at CB this season. I would say he's been better than Sherm after 4 games...

Playing in Seattle he has 0 chance of getting league MVP. DPOY though? That could be interesting.
