Off to LaLa land for 3 against the Dodgers. Can we come away with 1?

Probables:

Mon: Bryan Woo RHP (5-1, 2.06 ERA, 56 SO) vs Gavin Stone RHP (10-5, 3.63 ERA, 95 SO)

Tue: Bryce Miller RHP (9-7, 3.29 ERA, 128 SO) vs Walker Buehler RHP (1-4, 5.58 ERA, 34 SO)

Wed: Logan Gilbert RHP (7-9, 2.96 ERA, 155 SO) vs Jack Flaherty RHP (9-5, 3.06 ERA, 157 SO)

Definitely can get one. That Detroit/Pittsburgh shindig was just too depressing.

The M's will do something stupid like sweep them or win 2 out of 3 and I will start to have hope again only to be kicked in the nuts when they lose to the next team with a losing record.

Nah, no way in hell they sweep the Dodgers. I tried and tried and tried. I'm done til next year. Just like the team. Went to ONE game all season, and only because it was free and killer seats. If they don't care, why should the fans?

Go Hawks

I get it, I wish the ownership would spend some real money in the off season so we could feel like they actually give a crap.

I really feel bad for people who were duped into spending money on the m's this year.

Get a real manager with fire AND knowledge, cut loose the strings on that purse or this is no different than Wiley Coyote vs Road Runner. Why buy tickets? Perennial losers is the stamp on their foreheads. At least NY and Boston will get their good pitchers for a AAA prospect or two .... soon anyway.

Love this quote from the Phillies owner John Middleton:

"It's remarkable how special this city is as a fan base. It's why I keep telling everybody, it may be a privately-held business that we own, but it's not a private organization. It's a very public organization. It's a stewardship. We have an obligation. We are accountable to the fans and to the city. If you don't approach it that way, you shouldn't be an owner, in my opinion."
John Middleton understands his obligation as an owner

Stanton, he's talking about you. Sell the team to a real owner.

Again, 5th worst bullpen in MLB since the All Star break. It's just a complete collapse by everyone in that pen.

Not that it matters much with an offense this bad anyway.

Oh well.
