Raider football. Buy high..sell low. Can't believe they couldn't get some form of compensation for him (Buffalo?). I wouldn't mind us taking a look at him. Definitely more upside, and a better fit, than a Brady Quinn.

McGloin beat him out, I think. He will find someone's practice squad at the very worst.

I am almost surprised they didn't just axe Flynn and go with three young QBs to see who develops because they are going to be really bad for another year or so until the bad contracts go away and they can start to rebuild anew, but maybe his cap hit was prohibitive.

Yep. This is why I said a Brady Quinn. More referring to Quinn's style of play than Brady Quinn himself.

Holy crap. That's a guy I was at one point hoping the Seahawks would consider drafting pw (pre-wilson). but he ended up staying in school another year and wow what a disastrous decision that was for him.

I thought Wilson looked pretty solid by rookie standards when he faced us. I'm guessing that Oakland is banking on two things:

#1: Wilson clears waivers and makes their PS.
#2: Drafting Bridgewater, Boyd, or Manziel next year.

Yep. This is the NFL version of tanking. 0-16 is a serious possibility.
