I would be pretty surprised if Mayowa doesn't make the final 53. He was very good in the first game and has been playing with the starters ever since.

Whew Mayowa made it past the first cut! He is my "must have" at the moment.

Not sure how you cut a guy that's been moved up with the 1st stringers. He's been solid against 1st, 2nd, and 3rd stringers. Him, Kearse, and Williams aren't going anywhere with the preseason they've had.

Only two mild surprises from that list, Ashford and Knox. Ashford has played well but has barely played, ditto Knox. If Ashford had a prayer of making it, it was as a KR but we seem to have a few guys that can manage themselves there. Our roster is ridiculously tight this year and IMO there is no longer room for pure ST players (aside from the mandatory ones, K, P, LS).

I don't get your reply at all. If it's sarcasm it doesn't make any sense. I've never heard kearly "bitch" and hasn't hidden the fact that we are contenders and that the roster is very, very strong.

If I recall correctly, it was you that was convinced last year that everyone was over-reacting to how good we were and that we had "accomplished nothing", which was true but didn't mean that anyone with eyeballs could tell we were going to be special.

The 5 PUP/NFI guys are exempt, so only 10 needed to be moved out. With the 8 that were cut plus Williams to IR there's one more move to make.

I don't think this is correct. It's been stated 6 more moves need to take place by tomorrow on multiple sites. Just curious if you have a source?

They're exempt in the sense that they just need to be moved from Active-PUP to Reserve-PUP, and so on (assuming they're still debilitated, of course). They don't have to actually cut/release 6 more players.
