Pretty sure there needs to be 15 moves. 90 down to 75.

The 5 PUP/NFI guys are exempt, so only 10 needed to be moved out. With the 8 that were cut plus Williams to IR there's one more move to make.

I don't think this is correct. It's been stated 6 more moves need to take place by tomorrow on multiple sites. Just curious if you have a source?

Only two mild surprises from that list, Ashford and Knox. Ashford has played well but has barely played, ditto Knox. If Ashford had a prayer of making it, it was as a KR but we seem to have a few guys that can manage themselves there. Our roster is ridiculously tight this year and IMO there is no longer room for pure ST players (aside from the mandatory ones, K, P, LS).

Preseason Active PUP and Non Football Injury counts towards the 75. IR does not. At last count we had 76 on the active roster, 1 on Non football injury (Toomer) and Four on Pup. (Clem, Harvin, Scruggs, Simon). That gives us 81 that needs to be trimmed by 6 by tomorrow.

Someone (Rob?) intimated that these first cuts would be offense-heavy because there were so many defensive guys that were in close competition with one another. So far, that is an accurate observation.

Nuttin' surprising so far. As expected. Tough to make the team this year; there's no shame in being cut from the 2013 Seahawks.
