I think it's completely ridiculous to have the #1 game as Denver at Indy. How many people are sitting around telling their friends "Damn, I can't wait to see Peyton go to Indy, what a great game!". How many people are saying that about our matchups with SF? A whole lot more I guarantee it.

A good majority consider the Seahawks and Niners to be two of the best, if not the best two teams. AND division rivals who genuinely do not like each other.
only one can win the division.
That shows that Peytons name alone gets credit over actual game relevance.

Seattle, which added receiver Percy Harvin and defensive end Cliff Avril this offseason, represents the biggest threat to San Francisco -- not only in the NFC West, but in the entire conference.

People are rating us as tougher than Green Bay guys. Think about that. :th2thumbs:

Keep in mind, this is marketing hype as much as it is 'reporting.' Seattle may be rising on the NFL charts, but fans are maybe not so well informed. Besides, when pimpinmg games like these, the tried and true will always prevail.

The real test will be to see if we get another game or two flexed to Sunday night or not.

;)

I don't have a problem with the list. Only game that could make it would be Hawks at Texans, but that probably doesn't hold a ton of national appeal.

The media is going to hype the ever living hell out of Manning's return to Indianapolis. It's going to be vomit-inducing.

Seahawks get cut off at 2 games because that is "enough". Meanwhile they have no issues listing 3 games each for the 49ers and the Broncos. :stirthepot:

Hawks-Vikings should be a fun one with all the ex Vkings on the Hawks now. That could get a lot of attention

Hmm Seahawks Saints higher than Seahawks Falcons? I'd most definitely argue the other way, Falcons are a better team than the Saints. Playoffs this year vs the beastquake two years ago.

yeah saints/seahawks doesn't seem like a huge matchup to me...Saints have to prove they are a decent team again first.

The LAST ranked defense coming into OUR house? OUR defense against throw-it-500-times-a-game brees in OUR house?

Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to being at that one but I don't see it as a top tier match up.
