His cap hit the next two years is roughly $18 million per season with salaries of $13 million and $14 million respectively. It’s almost certain he will not be here in year three.

And that is worth the so-called "little too much" we paid him, imo.

His impact on JSN (which doesn't show up in actual stats) cannot be understated and it's worth the amount we are paying him in addition to him having key catches in games this season.

Besides, the CAP goes up every year so his contract isn't that big of a deal.

I'm thinking he gave us a bit of a home town discount. He's accomplished most of the things players say they want and has already made bank in the league. He's well paid, but like I said before, if he makes 5 or 6 catches a game, we're getting our money's worth.
