The Seahawks just signed a WR for $5.5M who has a career catch% of 49.5%. Kupp, even if he lost a step, still has good hands and catches 71.2% of the targets thrown his way. He's worth the $12M.

Cooper Kupp only played 12 games and still put up 700 yards. The big issue with Cooper Kupp is health, he has always had nagging injuries or been knocked out of games. He can still be productive -- but availability is a real concerned especially when paired with his age. I have mixed feelings about this signing, especially since we've been extremely lackadaisical in replacing our biggest hole, the interior line.

At the very least he can still play.

I am doubting the real #s are 3yrs/$45 million
That is pretty much the norm for free agents these days. Borderline starters/backups make around $10 mil per year while depth players make around $1-7 million range.

It is clear they view him as a starter and paid him accordingly.
