Ill be honest.. he maybe not be fast... or whatever but damn he's no different than he was with the rams. If his hands can grab it they do ... and the YAC for him.. we needed that.
With the way that JSN is playing, the Seahawks haven't had to use a lot of other options.I'm holding out hope we've been keeping him under wraps so everyone thinks he's washed but then he crushes it when we need him.
He isn't close to washed.I'm holding out hope we've been keeping him under wraps so everyone thinks he's washed but then he crushes it when we need him.
Well I'm sure he takes a shower now and then.....He isn't close to washed.
I think we bought high...I'm holding out hope we've been keeping him under wraps so everyone thinks he's washed but then he crushes it when we need him.
Better odds of that if we're not forcing 10-12 throws a game at him.Still waiting to see if he can stay healthy all season.
That is fine with Horton and Young developing.I figure if we get 5-6 catches a game from Kupp he's earning his pay.
I think we bought high...
I didn't say one bad thing towards the guy at all just relax, I'm simply saying I believe we paid a little to much for him...He's caught everything thrown his way
Not sure what else you want from the guy
He's exactly what this team needs
What isn't shown in the stats is his impact on JSN.I didn't say one bad thing towards the guy at all just relax, I'm simply saying I believe we paid a little to much for him...
His impact on JSN (which doesn't show up in actual stats) cannot be understated and it's worth the amount we are paying him in addition to him having key catches in games this season. He’s fine except I think they paid him way too much money. Three years $45 million with a guarantee of $17.5 million all paid this year. His cap hit the next two years is roughly $18 million per season with salaries of $13 million and $14 million respectively. It’s almost certain he will not be here in year three.
I'm thinking he gave us a bit of a home town discount. He's accomplished most of the things players say they want and has already made bank in the league. He's well paid, but like I said before, if he makes 5 or 6 catches a game, we're getting our money's worth.$15 million per year is a fair contract for Kupp. It isn't a great deal, but another team would have paid him if we didn't.
It's a risk because 31-year-old receivers can fall off the cliff at any time.
Mike Evans (32 years old) is getting $20.5 million per year, and Davante Adams (32 years old) is getting $22 million per year.
All three of these guys will not out-perform their contracts, but that's just the going rate.
I don't see anyone else on the Seahawks roster (besides JSN) making those tough 3rd down catches. Kupp fills a crucial role.
