Jets Total yardage 524 total, 473 passing, 51 rushing

Ravens Total yardage 142 total, 78 passing, 64 rushing

This was also the year the Ravens won the superbowl in 2000.

Their record after week 8 was 5-3.

I know, their defense was historical, but the Hawks defense is one of the best currently and Wilson is a much better quarterback than Trent Dilfer was. There are games where shit just happens. The Seahawks got the win tonight, and are in prime position to keep their run going with their win streak.

I can go back and look at a whole bunch of teams who missed the playoffs who played bad games and won too. I don't get the point of all this.

the point is that just because there is one pretty bad performance it doesn't mean that the sky is falling and we should all start putting our heads in the sand.

I said before the game that I was worried because the Rams' DEs versus our backup OTs was a bad matchup. It was a bad matchup. It happens. We won. Move on. As usual, the farther I get from the game, the more I realize that this is life in the NFL, and you should never bitch too much about a win.

The sky isn't falling, Seahawks played bad today and won.

We were supposed to blow out the Rams, we didn't.

You thought this game was a worry because 2 out of 22 starters were a bad matchup? What about the 20 other starters that were good matchups for us? Anyone who thought this game was going to be a game is high on crack.

well when the 2 players that are the biggest problem are going against the biggest strength of the defense and 2 of the best players from that defense, and those 2 seahawks players are letting rams through like they are vip's at a strip club it can make a big difference in the game.

Well, as you saw, when the other team has two pass rushers on the other team that will destroy our tackles and they know that our team views slants, screens, and hooks like anaethema, they can just stack the box and destroy the opposing QB by getting to him six times with their DEs that have a huge matchup advantage.

Look, they destroyed our line when it was full of STARTERS last year. Anyone who couldn't envision the same problem happening tonight is probably freebasing.

It can and it did, they stacked the box with 8 all night long.
I mean 7 damned sacks? and FIVE against 8 damned good 'D' players, and the FIVE have really only TWO and a HALF ,or THREE qualified O-linemen trying to give RW some cover??
Oh yeah, you're being realistic
