Jon Ryan Retires from Football

Not sure if it's been discussed anywhere yet but everybody's favorite Canadian punter recently retired after a final season in the CFL with my hometown team the Edmonton Elks.

He was very, very good for a long time for us as well as part of our Superb Owl season so I'd like to thank him & wish him well in retirement. He's about as close to a legend as a punter could possibly be IMO.

Nice post! Loved Ryan. He was the guy who tossed that TD that ignited our comeback in the NFCCG against the Packers and then gave the GB sideline the discount double check. His expression was priceless. And dude could kill a ball. He was instrumental in flipping field position in the LOB days.
