It is not as bad anymore but when Okung and Giac got hurt and people were still crying a player who hasn't even played a snap for the team yet and not worried about 2 of the most pivotal players on our O-line was laughable.

I do think there is a realistic and achievable middle ground in the situation RiverDog...you agree about that don't you?[/quote]

Yes, I do. I just don't see him coming in and having a Megatron or Andre Johnson type of game the minute he hits the field like the impression I'm being given by some. If all he does is take some pressure off our existing receiving corps sometime shortly after Thanksgiving and into the playoffs, it will be worth the wait. We've seemed to have done pretty well without him this season. Long term, I expect a lot more than that. For what we traded and the amount of money we are paying him, I expect him to be contributing at a Pro Bowl level by next year. But at least for now, I expect him to make some relatively small contributions for what's left of this season.

Pete just said he practiced LAST Tuesday, and not since then, so I would say after the bye at the earliest.

I actually know what you are trying to say...

Us FANS can type or talk with emotion...right now, I cannot stand him...think he is a puss...

The positive ( more realistic ) side of me says he is an awesome player that is simply hurt...

Another part of me does not even consider him a Seahawk till he in the field.

This. It kind of feels like we don't actually have Harvin on our team. Like it won't be official until we seem him on gameday. The only time I think about Harvin is when someone brings up that he's coming back. Overall I feel excited about the possibilities when he comes back, disappointed that it's taking so long for him to play, yet I understand the necessity; I would rather have him for the long haul instead of returning a game to early and getting re-injured.
