Who would replace him? Who at this point would be a more effective option? Because I sure as hell have no interest of ever seeing PC call offensive plays hahaha.

Bevell is not getting fired. He could be better. But he isn't Gregg Knapp.

Yeah I know he is not getting fired, but with all the complaints about play calling I'm just seeing if people have someone else significantly better in mind.

Just got an extension this off-season too I think? Or was it the previous one?

I personally think RW would be a good option to call his own plays. Decades ago it was the norm for QB's to call their own plays. Wilson has just the type of intelligence and demeanor to be able to pull it off. Would love to see him get the chance, even if it were initially for just small chunks of games.

He wont get fired, and I'm not at that point anyways. But, if he did, it'd be Cable.

Always seemed odd he wasn't the OC to begin with.

I know it's the easy way out when the team loses but I have to state for the record, win or lose, I've never been a huge Bevell fan. Never once in all of the winning streak we've had did I ever say "Thank God for Bevell!" I realize he has some effect on our success but I cannot sit here and say I've always thought Bevell was an incredible OC when I've never, ever thought that.

I think he has some good attributes and play selections but never once would I put him in the same caliber as any great offensive mind.

Sark + Carroll = Win Forever.

In all seriousness, if Bevell was fired, this would be the Seahawks new OC;

I'm not saying fire him? I'm just saying I won't be mad if he leaves cause we will immediately upgrade in the play calling dept.

Steve Sarkisian for OC next year.

If it means Wilcox takes his place, I'm in.

Carroll and Sark reunited? All we need now is Bush.

How did that work for Drew Brees last year

Yes and no. No I don't really think he should be calling his own plays but I definitely think he should have a lot more power to audible out of stuff then he seems to have.

Yeah, Justin Wilcox is a great guy, and we wont keep him at DC for long at UW. Head coach job, and he is there for awhile. Sark is a pro football OC all the way.

My thoughts exactly. Sark is a great guy, a good play caller and evaluator of talent er, the skill positions. But he's not showed me that he's HC material.

I don't know that Wilcox is either, but I'm willing to take that chance as opposed to risk losing him.

I'd have no problem with Sark taking over for Bevell. One thing we've learned for sure is that Sark and Carroll really complement each other and appear to be lacking without each other.

These threads never popped up when we were scoring 50 PTS a game last December.

Had you been in the IRC chat during those games, you'd have seen me making comments once or more during each of those games about play calling habits I disagreed with. :) Just because something works against some scrubs, doesn't mean it's a smart play call.
