For all the Phillips hype, I still look at this game the same as I did a week ago. It’s a winnable game against a solid team. Our run defense holds and we don’t make stupid turnovers and we win. Simple as that IMO
Also, don't forget that it's a huge opportunity for Darnold and our offense 'cause their two top corners (Ward/Sauce) are out so JSN and Shaheed should EAT well in this game.

This is what I expect today. A ton of running, mixed in with quite a bit of screens (Seattle will want to feast, so why not use that aggression) and short outs. When they do pass, get it out quick.

My prediction, Colts will have some success...mostly on the ground. The big question to me is Hawks O has to come out firing on all cylinders, no mistakes (penalty and turnovers) can't allow a hobbled Colts team to stay in the game. The 12's need to bring the noise and the passion.

Two narratives depending on the outcome of today's game:

Narrative #1: Rivers starts, plays well, and we lose. We'll be the butt of everyone's jokes.

Narrative #2: We win, and in doing so, make Rivers look like a parolee from a nursing home. The Colts intentionally tanked.

Fukc Rivers.
Hope we pick him off 4 times and send him back to his grandkids.

This defense should scare him. Not the other way around.

I've read all week, listened all week. Yes, it's a very unique storyline of Rivers return. But we have a very close knit veteran lead D, that is very good, that has also heard the noise. I will trust that they will be well prepared. Pride is a very powerful motivator.

Look, I enjoyed Rivers when he played. People are taking about this like he's the next coming of Christ. Rivers is not gonna come here and light this defense up, it's not happening folks. I bet behind close doors coach Mike is saying are they trying to insult us with Rivers. Our D is not gonna let up at all. The defense is gonna be like we have a HOF QB coming upon here time to feed. Let's show the world why we are the baddest MoFo defense on god's green earth.
