Seahawks fans are not the only ones confident (#1 seed)

Going over social media and youtube react vids, I'm seeing a lot of Forty-whiner fans who actually believe the 1 seed is now theirs by virtue of the Hawks win over the Rams.

And I find this hilarious.

First off, I think the Bears will beat them in Week 17.

And that's not disregarding the real possibility of old man Rivers beating their ass with his walking cane on MNF either. 😂

But even if they somehow escape both with a victory, they are not going to face the same Hawks team they faced in Week 1 and I'll leave it at that. :devilish:

Anyway, first things first.

I'm going to sit back, relax, enjoy REDZONE this Sunday, and then see if the NFL/Disney/Refs try to make Philip Rivers "Heart-warming return" story happen again (like they tried with us) on Monday Night.

Would laugh endlessly if Grandpa beat them. :sneaky:

9ers fans are hilariously delusional. Mad respect for them winning all these games this year with all the injuries they have dealt with but their mass delusions come to an end and real soon. Chances are both the Seahawks and Rams win out, and even if they don't, the Bears will likely beat them and the Seahawks almost certainly will.

I want so bad for Grandpa Rivers to beat them on MNF. 🙏

It would be the most Forty-Whiner way to lose an oppty for the 1 seed after all that "excitement" by their fans thinking the 1 seed is theirs after our Hawks beat the Rams.

Same.

Old Man Rivers has a fan in me right now. As a fellow middle aged old fart, it's hard not to root for him. Just glad we beat him in the end and now I can just relax and hope the best for him and the Colts the rest of the way.

Purdy is heating up again dammit. Hope he resorts back to the multi-interception Purdy again on Monday night.

We'll see on the 49ers. All of the training camp talk was about their easy schedule, and now everybody is glossing over their easy schedule. They haven't had a quality win since Week #6 against the Rams on TNF on October 2nd (over 2.5 months ago). Their other quality win was against Seattle. Give them credit on that, but typical Week #1 "starters didn't play in preseason" wonkiness, Kubiak was still figuring things out, and they had Bosa and Warner then...so yeah. They finally have to play a stretch of good teams again, so if they end up with the #1 seed, they'll have to earn it.

If they lose before we play them, I’ll be happy.

If they don’t, I’ll be absolutely ecstatic when we put the narrative to rest and spank dat azz.

Lots of pulling. Moist pulling.

And pushing @glenwo2 may be onto something.

"Kubiak was still figuring things out"?

Nah. He basically outsmarted himself in Game 1 instead of just going with the gameplan he's been using from Game 2 onward.

If the Hawks have to put belt-to-ass to end this nonsense in Week 18, they will do it.

But I have a feeling the Niners will lose one of the next two games so the Week 18 matchup won't really matter.

I do hope, for the sake of Comedy, and great content....as well as completing a TERRIFIC Week 16, that the Colts and Old Man Rivers pull off the upset on Monday. 🤞

Figuring things out isn't that far off from outsmarting himself. We really didn't play offensive starters in the preseason. I get that if we (and other teams obviously) don't want to risk injury. But the narrative that "we don't want to show things on tape" is just so stupid because that means you hope to have a tactical advantage in Game #1 while at the same time treating Game #1 as your preseason for starters. And then by Game #2, it's all on tape anyway. To your point, we would have beaten them in Week #2 and beyond.

The Packers have two very winnable games left. The Bears need both of their final games to hold them off for the division. They're going to come out 100% against the 49ers and actually match up really well against them. And they get two extra days to prepare for them as compared to the 49ers since they played on Saturday and the 49ers on Monday.
