His stat line wasn't that great, was just dinking and dunking and we kept Taylor under 100 yards. He didn't turn the ball over though till the last play. Field position for us and our anemic offense is what almost cost us.

I didn't see him get chewed out. If he was being talked to, maybe it was because he didn't slide on the one play where he got clobbered.

That play really surprised me. That was a big ol boy and Darnold got up like nothing happened.

Sam is a tough SOB.

I recall last season with the Vikings, he got clobbered in two games and in each of those games, the Fans were like "he's out for a few games at least"...then Sam comes out of the Blue Tent, right back on the field on the NEXT DOWN (not Offensive possession or series....but the next down).

Sam Darnold is : 200

What I want to happen is he gets destroyed by the Hawks (though somehow escapes injury) and then beats the Niners the following week. :devilish:
Okay so he didn't get destroyed like I wanted.

BUT he escaped injury (plus we beat him) so he'll be healthy (and with more of the rust off) enough to go out there and beat the Whiners next Sunday.
