Not after what happened against Tampa Bay. Probably for as long as he coaches, like, anywhere.

I think the Titans game was the bigger game for the "don't get complacent" ideology, especially on defense. Tampa Bay was hot coming into our matchup with them, and have a mess of injuries since. The Titans game had no business being that close, and the defense let up a bit at the end almost letting Titans steal one from them. Ever since that game the defense has been on a war path, and I can't see them overlooking anyone.

Let's have some context here :

Giving up a Punt Return (or was it a Kick Return?) for a Touchdown by the Titans shouldn't be held against the starting Defense.

Yes they gave up that late TD but at that point, the game was over anyway.

And even if we count that late TD, they still only gave up 17 points. (Still under 20 which is what this defense has been doing)

I didn't attribute it to the starting defense, so not sure why you are even bringing it up.

Yes they gave up that late TD but at that point, the game was over anyway.

I don't disagree. That's why there's that word almost in there. When one drive either way is possibly the difference in the game, against a team like the Titans who had 1 win going into that game, I think it is fair to say that's not the result you want to see. I also think it is fair to say the offense could have played much better, and scored more points. None of that takes away from the fact that the defensive players themselves admitted they let up at the end of the game.

And even if we count that late TD, they still only gave up 17 points. (Still under 20 which is what this defense has been doing)

Again, this is not just my opinion, this is based on responses from the players and coaches themselves. They have stated with no ambiguity that the Titans game made them realize they couldn't let teams back into the game, because any team can steal a win if you let up (paraphrasing). They have pointed to that game as the catalyst that made them refocus and have attributed that refocusing to their success on defense over the last two game.

So, with context to the statement I was responding to (which it appears you are missing), I don't think it was the TB game that gave them that mentality, insofar as this season. It was the Titans game.

You said the Titans game had no business being that close so that's where I brought up "context" which apparently shows that you and I have different definitions of the word if you believe I'm missing "context" here.

You know something, though? That's fine. (not in the mood to argue)

Have a nice day.🫡

Wait, did you expect the Titans game against to be that close? I think most people expected that game to further out of reach than a single score in the end. The context you were missing was playing down to the opponent, which again wasn't the case against TB.

Wasn't much of an argument from my perspective LOL, you felt the need to step in and argue points that I wasn't making.

Have a nice day.🫡

Farve’s first grandkid was born April 6, 2010.

His final game was vs the Bears on December 20, 2010.

He sustained a concussion, after he was knocked out, and that marked the end of his career.

So, yes, Farve was the first grandfather to play in an NFL game, as well as the first to start one.
It's Favre!

F-A-V-R-E!!!!!

Damn it! My nervous tick has suddenly returned after 15 years. 🤬

Rivers is 3-1 lifetime against the Seahawks. 3 of the 4 games were in Seattle.

(I'm just helping @AROS settle his nerves). :sneaky:
Here's some more for his nerves :

Last time Darnold faced Rivers, he threw a TD plus 3 picks (2 of them Pick-Sixes) while Rivers threw for 217 yards and 1 TD.

200

Of course that was in 2020 with Sam being on his way out from the Jets....

I'll try to balance it out a little for AROS. The game he threw for the most yards against Seattle (455) was the one he lost.

did you see the video of him throwing? Talk about "Noodle arm."
It's funny that people think he is stepping immediately back in at this age and with that amount of time off - and is somehow going to light up this Defense. It will more likely be lights out for Rivers.

I am still having a hard time believing that this is for real...and from everything I am reading it sounds like he is actually going to play. No one had this on their bingo card! I wonder if there is an over/under to bet on how many plays he lasts? I can't even imagine a 44 year old guy 5 years out of the league coming in and having success against this defense.

Do the Colts have a TE that runs a good seam route we won't cover EVER, if so it will be a loss, the one play the Chargers ran over and over we never ever could cover.
