I have high hopes for Yosemite Sam!What if Sam Howell turns out to be the next Baker Mayfield. No, not THAT Baker Mayfield, the GOOD version Baker Mayfield.

There we go, trade Geno for picks and cap relief, start Sam Howell, the savior that is wasting away on the sideline.I have high hopes for Yosemite Sam!
He's more likely the next Jeff George. What if Sam Howell turns out to be the next Baker Mayfield. No, not THAT Baker Mayfield, the GOOD version Baker Mayfield.

Don't put words in my mouth. I like Howell and think he will be our guy in the future. There we go, trade Geno for picks and cap relief, start Sam Howell, the savior that is wasting away on the sideline.
Since Howell is our guy for the future, should he get to play sooner rather than later?Don't put word in my mouth. I like Howell, and think he will be our guy in the future.
Geno may ask for a trade if he couldn't get a contract extension, and, fans are asking for Howell. Geno may still have some trade value now, zero after another year. He's signed through next year. We're getting appropriate value. This is a pointless conversation. I doubt we re-sign him though. Does anyone think were going to try and trade him? I'm not seeing it.
yeah, I see your point. Does he really have trade value? If he balls out the rest of the season and stops throwing picks? Yes. If he finishes the season with the same number of Picks as TD's? It won't be much.Geno may ask for a trade if he couldn't get a contract extension, and, fans are asking for Howell. Geno may still have some trade value now, zero after another year.
That's not for me to decide. I guess that will happen when the FO decides that he is ready, or they are forced to roll with him as the QB1. Does that answer your question?Since Howell is our guy for the future, should he get to play sooner rather than later?
Yaaay, Aaron Curry.I guess cause when you’re in a rebuild it’s better to suck for higher draft picks

They have JJ McCarthy, they're good.Minnesota? I thing Geno would be an upgrade over Darnold. The Vikes look like another team that is close to being a top contender plus Geno would be closer to family, right?
The have Levis for now so probably not.I see Tennessee as a fit. They really are a QB away from being pretty good. The problem with the Browns is the Watson contract.
Seems like Cleveland might be a good place for Geno. They can't payBrowns can't really pay Geno while they're stuck with the Watson contract. I think there are other teams that could trade for them if the Seahawks don't want to keep him, but news flash --
GENO SMITH IS THE SEAHAWK'S QUARTERBACK IN 2025.
I'm not going to attempt to convince you be happy about it, but barring major injury in the coming weeks, that's the reality.
This is not wrong, but I might add at least one OL to that short list and possibly a LB too. Plus, next years QB class ain't all that great, so it'd be nice not to have to worry about QB for one more season.Rebuild? Huh? Were literally a couple interior lineman away from being legit contenders now. Why would we need a complete rebuild ?
