Aaron Rodgers plays like he should have retired when he got hurt last year. He was a stud at one time but the Jets were better without him.

I don’t hate Rogers and it’s still a massive no for me

I’m no Geno fanatic, but if Aaron Rodgers is our only other choice… Pay Geno whatever he wants!

Let’s be honest here, the jets have never been better. It was just a less expensive sucking.

Well they won more games last season with him on IR. It is true that they still weren’t good but they could sign dome real talent without his salary weighing them down. Of course I believe we can agree even if they win a few more games it’s doubtful they’ll be scaring anyone any time soon

Fortunately we are not in that state of need. We have a good plan A and a solid plan B in case it goes south.

Pass…

Rodgers is under contract for $37.5M next season. Personally I don't think he's worth that much so I wouldn't even swap 7th round picks to acquire him. The Jets will likely say they are listening to offers, just to get an idea what other teams think he's worth. It's possible they'll cut him before the new NFL year if they don't get offers for him at $37.5M. I have no clue what his FA market value might look like.

Due to everyone took the "No" route and I don't care either way...I will find some positives in the trade.

Trade bait? Even swap for Geno. Jets get their golden child back that they drafted, just a better version.

Who is better in 2024? Winner is Farve Jr.

TDs, INTs, QB Rating all favor the Hippie...Geno has higher yards and completion percentage.

Neither of these guys are starting in 2030, so who do you want coaching up the young buck? Probably the 20 year vet with a Superbowl title VS the 2 year hit wonder.

Are the Seahawks winning the Superbowl this year or next? No. So why not set ourselves up fat for the future. Draft a QB in the 1st, the rest of the picks being linemen and make a deep run in the playoffs next year

Definite No
Jets invested loads into the Rodgers project & look where its got them

I also think he comes across as a strange sort of guy away from football

Great player a few years back but sadly no longer

Erin isn't the QB he once was and it's by a wide margin. Geno at this point is better just check the mobility and you can see why. AR is a problem for coaches he doesn't get along with and tries to pull a Lebron and get his way. I would hate to see him playing for us, he can be a cancer to a team and it would destroy what is trying to built here under MM. I have high hopes for moving on to Sam once Geno's contract expires.

Rodgers is washed. I think zero teams would want him and the fact he seems pretty disruptive
