An interesting article from Sports Illustrated about signing Aaron Rodgers as Geno Smith replacement. By a wide margin, 12s on dot net didn't want to grant an extension to Geno and preferred seeing more Howell than Geno. We have calls for Howell during game time, almost every game. Fans have opined about Geno 2025 and where they stand on Geno vs Howell.

I'm not sure if the current Rodgers would be as good as Howell, but he ought to be better than Geno in the minds of 12s. At worst, we can have Rodgers back up Howell and provide some mentorship.

The point of not wanting Geno would be to get a young Fresh QB with upside. Not a has been loser who sucks now and is a terrible leader and mentor.

Well they won more games last season with him on IR. It is true that they still weren’t good but they could sign dome real talent without his salary weighing them down. Of course I believe we can agree even if they win a few more games it’s doubtful they’ll be scaring anyone any time soon

It cracks me up that QBs they gave up on, are starting around the NFL and playing better than Rodgers. Such a jets thing too do.
