I don't really understand their system. Stafford is 4th, Trevor Lawrence 10th, Brock Purdy 15th. Mahomes at #1 shows they heavily factor past season results, but many of their other rankings would express something different. Anthony Richardson (22nd), Caleb Williams (23rd), Jacoby Brissett (24th), and Russell Wilson (25th) ahead of Jaylon Daniels is something as well.

I'll take it though.

I can't argue with any of the points made in the writeup. I think, behind even an average offensive line, Geno could be our starting QB for the forseeable future.

It's not based on past performance. Ruiz tries to remove the supporting cast from the equation when ranking QBs. In other words, if you dropped each QB into a league-average situation, how would you rank them? That's why Stafford and Lawrence are ranked so high.

The rankings haven't been updated since last week, so I'd expect Daniels and Purdy to rise slightly.

Mahomes #1 shows they heavily favor last years results when the Chiefs are undefeated this year? LOLOL

yes, Cadillac Bdown hasn’t played a snap and Pacheco is injured and Rashee Rice is hurt and might be gone for the season and CEH has been out and Kelce not in top form so Mahomes hasn’t looked like a world beater just well a winner.
