Maybe if people think you are trolling it should lead you to do some introspection as to whether or not what you are saying is out of pocket or not. I'm pretty sure like week 1 you were saying Geno was MVP. It was ludicrous then and it still is now. RW3 never won an MVP. Never even got a vote. And Geno does not even sniff prime Russ' jock. Let's be real here.
Or you could just make a good faith argument and not call names.

you have every right to disagree and that's fair. I just don't like being called disingenuous about something I believe.
Fair enough, like someone said you said the first thing week 1 so it seemed like you are trying to get a response. But if you say you’re not then I believe you, let’s move on and enjoy the game? Fresh start lol

If I were trying to build a roster for a "want to win this year" team I would choose Geno over Purdy THIS YEAR. I like them both but I think Geno's experience and superior long ball is better than Purdy has under hos best at this time. I do not think Purdy has exhibited superior scrambling ability compared to Geno so Geno would be my choice. I might flip that after this year though.

Here we go again. He was great today, but was awful just a week ago. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he played average to bad against Buffalo.

It sure does get the pitchforks and torches out when people effusively praise the guy who has us competitive, but no one cares when K9 gets similar praise (as in top-5 talent at RB) without the statistical heft behind it.

They're quite similar situations, but they aren't called the same way. There's a double-standard here.

FWIW, I think they both flirt with top-5 talent at their spots. Talent - not production, not numbers, but talent.

Its 1000% residual butt hurt on the part of some for being wrong about Russ, the fact that Geno stepped in and has been one of the top 12 players at his position since Russ left, and that Russ has proven he was never held back here, was enabled by Pete's coddling, and could never play the mental Xs and Os game the way Geno has.

I'd wager there's pretty close to 100% correlation between posters who were diehard Russ supporters and those who now find every reason to discredit Geno.

I watched some highlights of today's falcons game, I was a bit surprised but pleased to notice that Geno still keeping his footwork and haven't developed noticeable happy feet, he seems to have trust on his OL, lol, he really shouldn't.

What games are you watching? By no measure was he 'awful' last week. The dude had a lefit overthrow for an INT and 2 TDs called back.

His 2nd INT has been dissected by a few folks with video's on youtube showing it was a crap route by DK that was the cause.

He hasnt been awful in a single game this year.

I purposely started him on my one fantasy team where I have him. Very glad I did. I figured if I have faith in my team, start him. Didn't hurt that my bench QB was Cousins. I Started Koo cuz he was my only option, big zero there!

I started Darnold and Jahmyr Gibbs on my other team. Blowing both opponents out this week!

There are so many QBs who people wouldn't blink an eye if you called them top 5 who had WAY worse games than that.

Josh Allen went 9 for 30 in one game. CJ Stroud just threw for 80ish yards. Brock Purdy had a game like Geno's against Arizona--only Geno went for 300 yards in his and doesn't have the NFL's 2nd leading rusher as support.

If Geno had these games, these guys who won't blink an eye calling those dudes top 5 would be telling us Geno's the worst QB in the league.

Geno is as solid a guy as you could have this year. I saw all that Geno hate. The hate should be aimed at the defense.

I have genuinely no idea how someone saying Geno is top 5 is more controversial than when people say he's a backup-caliber player.

Dude is a HELL of a lot closer to top-5 than being outside the top-32.
They’re both bad takes. He’s nowhere near top 5 BUT he’s a good starter and that’s hard to find.

Geno was bad last week Keasley, he was much better today imo.

I think this is part of a common phenomenon where fans see the grass as being greener elsewhere and tend to think the problems their team has are problems that the rest of the league doesn't have.

That same phenomenon leads to things like every team thinking their OC sucks, thinking their DC sucks, most teams thinking their OL is bad, every fanbase saying their defense plays too much soft coverage, etc.

But yeah - bad games are extremely common for even the best quarterbacks. You can see one weekly, sometimes multiple.

In a lofty place tanglin' with Satan over history.
Top 6-10

That's a two way street like a MFer, tbh.

The qb playing behind one of the worst o-lines in the league only leads the league in the categories he does if he's pretty damn good.
He leads in yards. That’s it.

Every QB has terrible games. From Brady to Geno they all do. Why do people get so mad if you object to Geno being top 5? He’s been a godsend for us post Russ. No one outside of Seahawks fanatics put him anywhere near the top 5. No one so again why are we terrible for agreeing with 90% of the football kingdom? It’s wild to me that any criticism of Geno is met by the same select few who seem to take this stuff personal.

Here’s my take that gets me labeled a hater. Geno is a very good QB who we’re lucky to have. He’s not elite imo but those guys are hard to find as we’re had one in 50 years but he’s very, very good. And for that I’m labeled a Geno hater.
