Slow day at work...thought it would be great to add some threads to kill time in the offseason. Even longtime Seahawks fans might not know all of these. I was poking around the internet and found these. Which one surprised you the most? As much as I am a Largent fan, I never heard about the Yoda reference.

1. Steve Largent Was Almost Never a Seahawk

Steve Largent was originally drafted by the Houston Oilers and traded to Seattle before his rookie season for an eighth-round pick. It turned out to be one of the greatest trades in franchise history.

2. The Seahawks Hold a Unique NFL Distinction

Seattle is the only NFL franchise to have played in both an AFC Championship Game and an NFC Championship Game. The team began in the AFC in 1976 before moving to the NFC West in 2002.

3. Steve Largent Was the First to Reach 100 Receiving Touchdowns

When Largent caught his 100th career touchdown pass, he became the first player in NFL history to reach that milestone. He retired holding virtually every major receiving record.

4. Steve Largent's Nickname Was "Yoda"

Largent wasn't the biggest or fastest receiver, but his teammates nicknamed him "Yoda" because of his incredible football IQ, precise route running, and ability to always find a way to get open.

5. Lumen Field Was Built to Be Loud

The stadium's roof wasn't designed just to keep fans dry—it was engineered to reflect crowd noise back onto the field. That's one of the reasons Seattle has earned a reputation for having one of the loudest home-field advantages in sports.

6. Cortez Kennedy Won Defensive Player of the Year on a 2–14 Team

In 1992, Cortez Kennedy was so dominant that he won NFL Defensive Player of the Year even though the Seahawks finished with a 2–14 record. It's one of the most remarkable individual defensive seasons in league history.

This is why I hope whomever the new owners are, don't decide to "Fix what ain't broken".

If they do, it would potentially ruin the 12th man forever.

5 is false.. it was a happy accident

however, the nose bleed end zone seats were to be, as it was designed at the Request of Allen who loved the Husky stadium Nose bleed section.. where they could stomp their feet.

We started in the NFC and the move to the AFC was supposed to be for
a lot less years than it was, they finally corrected that.

True, but we have done what no other team has done, been in both the AFC and NFC Championship game.

That and the timing may have been long but we put the Greatest Show on Turf out to pasture, crushed that self-righteous Martz's career, and laid claim to up to this point the dominant team in the NFC West through 3 coaches, Holmgren, Carroll, MacDonald, Mora isn't included as he was a throw in and out. and 3 GM's and two Owners Paul and Jody how I look at it.
