I just read the article featuring Holmgren.

Im on my phone, so will post link later, soon

Will our organization give him a contract extension?

Should we?

I say, Yes.

What say you, and why?

Hard no for me. Don't get me wrong I think Geno is a starting QB in this league but he's not winning this team a SB in his career.

Draft Jaxon Dart, let him and Howell duke it out next year. Spend the money you were going to drop on Geno on the OL instead and roll with it.

I'm still undecided on the question. Geno is worth the money based on what most of the guys above him make. I would also like to see what he would do behind a competitive O Line. Just not sure I'm willing to wait for that to happen in Seattle.

Hard to say. Every time I'm on board he has a game like last week or against the 9ers and he still hasn't beat them yet. I get the oline is bad but at times people make excuses for him.

Depends on contract and if the hawks think there's any other QBs out there. He wanted his contract redone last off-season and if he's still wanting more then nah

I like Geno and it's a hard no. Spend that money on rebuilding the trenches for the next 2-3 years.
That’s the approach that lacks excitement….and it’s 100% the way I’d go. For the next 2-3 years, unless there’s a can’t miss QB, WR, Safety, or Edge available when our pick comes, my choice would be the best O-lineman available…

And I do mean ‘can’t miss’. As the draft is a crap shoot, I doubt we run into that scenario.

We have an NFL comeback player of the year (Geno) and a couple of RBs that were considered either the top (K9) or high up there (Charbonnet) and we can’t do diddly squat.

This isn’t pee-wee ball where you run gimmicky plays and only need the fast little dude that runs jet sweeps all day..

Put our skilled players behind a stout line and we have a Top 5-7 offense. But, Father Time isn’t going to wait for us to develop a line so, invest in the future now and quit blowing smoke up everyones ass by saying things like ‘we’re only 1-2 pieces away’ and rebuild this team the right way.

I do like Geno. I love his story. I love his resilience.

But it’s time to clean house.

Do you REALLY believe Caleb Williams is a "generational talent"?
I don't, or should I say I rather that he isn't, as I am not a Caleb fan. All the media experts consensually crowned him as that can't-miss generational talent. For ole Toffee, I always evaluated him as a poor man's Russell Wilson.

Nah, this team needs SO much, may as well start drafting dudes until one hits. There's a 2-3 year window to find a QB before this team is ready to make noise. Signing a Vet QB @15m+ seems rather pointless.

I think everyone is vastly overestimating how much this team needs to be good, but that's me.

As for the question, I'm still undecided on this one. I think more of this season needs to play out and with the unexpected change at Center, the cleaning house mid-season at LB, and the return of Lucas means I honestly don't know what this team is or where this team really stands.

The NFC West is--outside of the Cards (who we still get to play twice)--all within 1 game of .500. To me, coming out of this bye, we're near clean slate level. So, I just don't see the purpose of deciding what to do with Geno (or anyone) right now.

So, to me, this is a 'Wait and See' decision.
