the more i think about it he could be setting up for a huge year.
Crowd noise he didn't have in detroit
Better secondary
motivation of not getting a big time deal
on the other hand he is the Cliff Avril that I have always seen as being overrated. We'll see

It will be interesting to see if they use him at LEO and at the opposite side as the nickle end. Here's hoping Bennett, Avril and Schofield can pressure and contain.

He's very similar to Bruce Irvin as a pass rusher, but with fewer glaring weakness in other areas. I think he'll help us roughly as much as 2012 Irvin did as a pass rusher, maybe a hair more. I think he's probably a big upgrade over Mayowa. Him and Schofield will be a solid pairing on pass rush downs.

If we are to win Sunday....they will all need to play well!

That's good enough given our LB's are at least as good as Green Bay's and our backend is the NFL's best even without Browner. Thurmond may not be as physical but he's faster and bookends Sherman straight up.

First time in 3 years my co-workers are watching the game (they lean to Seattle probably because I talk them up everyday).

At work this Sunday it's mandatory to either wear a NFL jersey or black or gold DirectTV corporate showing up(Seahawk jersey counts I have been told).:)).

Heard he's bad against the run but has a knack for strippin the ball from the quarterback.

Thurmond? He's actually identical to Sherman if healthy he just doesn't have as much experience in every situation. So I guess you're correct if the players that are supposed to stop the run fail.

Avril. :)

I like WT3 a lot and expect to see him bat some balls down this Sunday.

You're talking Avril...Kearly hit the gist (on the low end) given a complete Irvin with selfsame player returning 3 weeks from now completely healthy backing him up from everywhere? Ridiculous.

ET is my favorite but I like Thurmond big time. Also love Okung (He's my only jersey). Only LT I have seen stonewall Justin Smith when both are healthy.:)

6 sacks on Kaepernick on Sunday.

Oops, I thought you said "wildest hopes".
If Clemons and Avril are in play? I say 2-3 and Boldin back to reality. Better hope VD hears trains real well...

If he didn't have to try to fill Walter Jones' shoes, he'd be appreciated waaaaay more around here. Love having him on the team.
