Per Wiki 3 teams can have 6 prime time games and there are no restrictions on intra-division games being flexed.

Individual teams may make no more than four appearances on NBC during the season. Only three teams may make as many as six prime time appearances (Sunday night, Monday night, Thursday night, and Saturday night combined).[28] The remaining teams may make a maximum of five prime time appearances. In addition, there are no restrictions amongst intra-division games being "flexed."

Niners have reached the limit on primetime games and are unable to have more

That is true, the 49ers have 2 more MNF games which will not change giving them 5 prime time games which is the max. I was just pointing out that if FOX or CBS locks a game it doesn't mean it will stay that way. The KC/DEN game is a prime example of a game that had been locked by CBS but still ended up being flexed to SNF.

Of course, the Niners have to win their next games in order for your game to be worth flexing.

This flex of the Denver/KC game gives Denver 6 prime time games, was "protected" by CBS and is an intra-division game.

So, no rules blocking your game being flexed if it is a relevant game.

Wonder if the Denver KC game on Dec 1st could be flexed if it was also a relevant game since it's intra-division.

The niners would fight this big time. They don't want to be publically humiliated again.

I can confirm that Fox has protected this game and we will not be seeing it broadcast on Sunday night on NBC.

It's very possible FOX lets SF/SEA go to NBC now because they could flex Carolina-NO into the National 4:25PM ET slot to replace that game. That game may be even bigger than ours when Week 14 comes around.

So don't rule it out despite everyone saying otherwise.

From what others were saying, DEN vs. KC was protected by CBS but still flexed into SNF. So I don't know if it being "protected" means anything anymore.

One thing going against this game is that NBC had the first match-up. CBS will still get DEN-KC in two weeks.

But no doubt the SNF game in Week 14 will be Panthers/Saints or Seahawks/Niners.

Guys, I heard that Fox locked this game up so it cannot be flexed.

CBS had the KC vs DEN game week 11 locked up and it's being aired on SNF, so anything could happen. I believe the Saints are playing the Panthers that week so it wouldn't surprise me if that is the game to get flexed. There division race is tighter than ours. I just wanted to bring up the KC/DEN game this week sense CBS did have it locked and yet it's being aired on SNF.

Winner winner chicken dinner. Our game will not be as compelling as this one as both the Saints and Panthers will have better records than the Niners at the time.

It will not be flexed. KC/DEN being flexed despite being protected is not something NBC can just do on its own accord - CBS actually had to agree to give the game up and it had never happened before in the history of flex scheduling.

Unless FOX changes their minds and considers CAR/NO as the bigger game. In that case I'm sure NBC would take SF/SEA again. NBC has had the same matchup on their network twice in the same season before (DAL/NYG) so it wouldn't be unprecedented.

A lot depends on the next couple of weeks. If Carolina beats NE, the Saints beat SF and the Seahawks beat NO.. suddenly that CAR/NO game is huge and FOX may want to keep hold of it.

Can anyone confirm that the SEA/SF game on December 8th has been flexed?
