Harry Ford is hitting .217 at Tacoma. Seattles backup catcher situation needs some serious help. Can we we get Tom Murphy back?
We picked up Leody Taveras from Texas. He would be an upgrade over Rylon Thomas in right field.

They keep Ford at Tacoma so he gets to play almost every day and develop his game. How many times would he really play behind Cal? One game a week? I actually understand why they are not in a hurry with him. 🤷‍♂️

Good point. I just want Garver gone. SO done with that guy. Nice dude who didn't deserve all the crap he got last year from fans (death threats) but man he is horrific at the plate.

Well, he's still on the team, so he clearly still has stubborn tendencies. Ford is sitting in AAA ready to rock.
I think ford would suffer from being in the back up catcher role. I wish we could trade garverfor an olds school polished pro catcher with a last name like Molina. A back up catcher doesn’t have to hit, kinda like garver, but he sure needs to get his body in front of a wild pitch in a tie game…

Well, it was bound to happen. After 8 consecutive series wins, MIGHT finally actually lose one. I can just hear the Deb's coming back and yelling "seeeee, I told you they suck" :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

What a great season is has been so far. This is a blast. Tip of the cap to the A's, they're a damn good team.

LFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, this team just continues to show heart. Down 5 buzz? Meh. New guy ties it up, Dylan hits one to the gap.

6-5 M's, top of 8th. Let's get it!

I know it's just May 7th. And I've probably said it many times. But............this team just feels different. Seriously.

Hoping to crow up. I figured it was done at 5 zip. :)

9 straight series wins. I had a little crow sandwich, not too bad. Needed a little salt.

That sound from a certain few...........🦗

Tough first inning for Woo, but he settled down and kept it close enough in the end.

Welcome to the Mariners, Leody Tavaris. Bats in the tying run and scores the go ahead run after that.

9 series wins in a row. IIRC the team record is 10 with the Blue Jays in town this weekend. Yankees after that.

Definitely showing heart.

Yeah, fairly rare for Woo. Sometimes you just don't have your A game. But he bounced back enough. How cool is it that the new guy gets a game tying RBI in the 8th?

It's going to be a tough battle in the AL West this year. Four of the five teams are at or above .500. The Astros made it to the ALCS last year, and the Rangers won the World Series in 2023. (And the Astros were in the WS in 2022 and 2021.) And this year, it looks like the Athletics are for real.
