I think he has like 5 snaps in 1 game over 2 years. If this guy turns out to be good...

Smith didn’t do a dang thing, but I still would have run him out there over Taylor. Taylor has single handedly lost several games this season.

Playing Taylor instead of giving reps to a young guy was frustrating - how much worse could he have been?

Playing Clark over Smith? Criminal malpractice. I find it inconceivable that Smith could be worse than Mr. Two Solo Tackles in Five Games Clark.

Ya, it's frustrating. Knowing that there's about no chance Taylor is back next year. It seems like a waste. Dude just hasn't progressed at all since the end of his rookie year.

Wait. Did I just contradict myself? Where am I? What did you do with my oatmeal?

Isn't Taylor an RFA in the offseason? I thought he lost a year of eligibility or something. We should have traded him last offseason when he had a sack number (9.5) that made him look better than he actually played. His value definitely hasn't increased since.

You might be right about RFA. Even if he is, what's round tag is he worth? Would you give him a 3rd round designation and hope someone gives up a pick?

I thought the same thing last year. We should have sold comparatively high.

He was a second-round pick so I think he has to be a first or second round tender, or just not be tendered at all. I'm not super conversant in this stuff, so I could be wrong though. I don't know if he's eligible for a first rights of refusal kinda thing. He's definitely not worth the second-round tender, but it would be really nice if another team thought he was. We could really use that pick after the Williams trade.
