If we lose Kubiak the one that would hurt if if Jake Peetz got an OC job (he is interviewing in Detroit). I was listening to the man 2 man podcast and they had him a a natural replacement to move up to OC
I wonder if anyone is considering Indiana's OC (Mike 'unrelated' Shanahan) for an NFL OC spot. Detroit could do worse.

If Kooby bolts town, simply retain the system and promote from within

Peetz could be a replacement, but don't think he has a lot of play calling experience. We went down that road before with Waldron at the time. I'd rather have experienced play callers.

ATL hired Stefanski, so here's the latest on this:

TeamStatus
Arizona CardinalsInterviewed
Baltimore RavensInterviewed
Buffalo BillsTied to vacancy, but no interview reported yet
Cleveland BrownsTied to vacancy, but no interview reported yet
Las Vegas RaidersInterviewed
Pittsburgh SteelersTied to vacancy, but no interview reported yet
Atlanta FalconsInterviewed (position filled)
New York GiantsInterviewed (position filled)

Cardinals - Joe Brady seems to be the leading candidate here. They've also interviewed Mike LaFleur.

Ravens - they have multiple second interviews scheduled, and will have to wait on Kubiak for a second interview.

Raiders - they have interviewed Evero, Minter and McDaniel, and will also have to wait for a second interview.

There is a chance that Kubiak stays in Seattle next year, especially if the team makes it to the Super Bowl.

He'd be crazy to not take Ravens or Bills job if he's offered. Probably the Steelers too, given how historically stable that position is.

I doubt he stays. Too many openings, too few strong candidates.

I feel like he's heading to the Ravens. Just a feeling.

Cardinals, Browns and Raiders are the only organizations that would throw a Hail Mary on an OC who isn't ready to be a head coach.

I am happy to have been wrong. I would very much like to keep him here.
