First let me get this out of the way :

Congratulations to Sammy D for winning his first playoff game.

He didn't need to do much aside from playing within the confines of the offense.

He was the perfect cog in this Seattle Seahawk machine last night.

Sam made the throws he needed to and had a nice TD pass to JSN in the back corner of the endzone off playaction.

He also did not turn the ball over which is very important.

And how about Cooper Kupp? He had a big night, too, and made himself available for Sam to find him when they needed the chains to keep moving. Lots of COOOOOOOP chants tonight.

Now as far as Darnold's efficient performance goes, will this quiet the naysayers? No. But IDGAF at this point anyway.

He is now 1-1 and imo, will be 2-1 next week.

Now that said let me just say this :

GIVE SHAHEED ALL THE MONEY (and that goes for K9 as well).

That 95-yard KICKOFF return for a TD set the tone for the entire game.

The old saying "Can we win the game in the 1st quarter" should've been "Can we win the game on the first play?". 😂

And I think the Hawks did just that.

Shaheed was just DYNAMIC whenever he got the ball.

Fans (and me) were on the edge of their seats when he had the ball thinking he was going to take it to the house again.

What a trade acquisition by JS. Just BRILLIANT. 👍

And K9. OMG! 🤯

How the hell do we NOT bring him back at this rate? I think JS is going to whatever takes to keep him a Seahawk so we'll see.

He showed us how much of a Dynamic force he is as our RB with 3 TDs. 😤

And when Charbonnet went out with an injury (though I saw him on the bench later on so I figure he was kept out as a precaution), he went absolute HAM out there.

He made Darnold's life immensely easy.

Shoutout, btw, to one JAKE BOBO with a big catch to move the sticks. (I'm sure fans here enjoyed seeing that)

Kubiak called a GOOD GAME.

Nothing "cute" or "stupid".

Just ran the ball, ran the ball...and oh yeah....ran the ball some more. No F'ing around.

Now onto the DEFENSE and HOLY SH*T-BALLS!

This DEFENSE is definitely challenging the LOB in dominance.

Brock Purdy had that Boombox shoved up his ass in this game.

He was under siege from the get-go and while he managed to make a few plays here and there, he wasn't able to do much of anything overall.

Why? Because he succumbed to The Darkside.

Ernest Jones, man... I know I put @keasley45 on ignore but I'll acknowledge that his boy had himself a friggin' DAY(or night, technically) with a forced fumble and a pick combined with overall great defense. Love it.

And I just enjoyed seeing Leonard Williams basically pancake Purdy into the turf making him eat grass at that one point, too.

I admit, I was a bit concerned at one point when I heard Raible on radio say that Emmanwori came up lame (and I was like "oh god, come on!!") but fortunately it was just him getting stung on the shin and they just hurt but that's it. He was out there the rest of the game so no harm, no foul.

Overall, this was a TOTAL *TEAM* WIN.

As Sam said in the postgame on-field interview that it was all 3-phases working and he especially emphasized the OL and the Running game and the Defense doing its thing. (oh...and yeah....His oblique felt fine. Thanks for asking. LOL!)

Now we all get to sit back and relax...and watch whom our opponent will be tomorrow when the Da Bears face the Rams.

I am on cloud 9 like many of you here but moreso because Sam Darnold *FINALLY* won his first playoff game after all the "wait for the playoffs" mockery by opposing fans thinking a repeat of last year was going to happen.

Anyway, I'm going to finish this by saying that I'm going to have a ton of fun collecting receipts across twitter from every smartass Niners fan talking shit about Darnold and the team and throwing out the scoreboard in EVERY RESPONSE. :devilish:

All I know is....the Bumbu tasted sweeter than ever....and what I usually savor AFTER a win, started in the second half.
