Cortisone clearly kicked in after instead of playing he chose to spend Monday night kicking puppies off the Space Needle.

Here's my crazy theory. Harvin has surgery and every time he pushes his body hard his hip gets soar and he has to back off which is pretty normal. But I would expect the swelling to decrease each time, so perhaps if he plays the 49ers game he will probably be a game time decision for the next game. I can't see this having anything to do with Harvins desire to play or practice.
