I tried to hang with the Mariners through many bad trades... like wow. Then they let Randy Johnson go and I was done.

I think Ty didnt like the way the old coaching staff wanted him to approach his at bats and he told them what he thought about it. They wanted to make an example of him, so they cut him.
He had plenty of skill and should have at least been traded. Thats another one on Jerry.

I disagree, France had been struggling for a couple seasons
and dug his own hole.
The Ms gave him plenty of chances to snap out of it.

You’re not wrong. I think France got star struck when he got to be an alternate to the all star game. He struggled in that game and was never the same after that. The change of scenery has him hitting like the Ty France I am a fan of but I wish that coulda been here

Yeah I get that. I just hated how it went down and I believed it was a mistake. He was one of my favorites and Jerry has a history of trading my favorites…. We were also not tearing up MLB when I first started checking in on France. I have been pretty fed up with Jerry for awhile but this year is making me feel better. I wonder how much of this is Dan and Edgar cause it seems like that’s all that’s changed.

I guess I’m not obsessed with Ty as much as I am with the move. I want to feel like I’m right too so seeing Ty play well now makes me feel smart like maybe I should start working in baseball

He was a great teammate for sure. Just was a flat out rally killer. I called him DP France for much of his final year and a half. If you wanted an inning ending Double Play? He was the guy.
