Get ready for the injury excuse again....
Well...its does suck, but none of these guys were much more than depth.
Skule was going to be the swing tackle, right? Seems more than just your traditional "depth"/ST guys.
Yes, but it was all depth. Not saying these were fringe guys who wouldn’t be on roster. They all likely would have, but none of them were likely starters.
Wilson: #2 RB, but they drafted Sermon and Mitchell. Very likely he was gonna lose carries. He’ll be back tho.
Moore: Very crowded secondary now after draft and signing of Jefferson. He was likely to play more on special teams with spot duty at safety/CB.
Skule: Yes, was in competition at swing tackle, but wasn’t the de facto swing tackle. If Banks wins job at guard, Brunskil likely becomes 1st guy off bench at all line positions. They also get Shon Coleman back who got hurt in preseason 2019 and opted out RE Covid last season.
Injuries suck for sure, just sayin these guys won’t be the difference between winning and losing this season…unless they lose a number of starters and backups so their depth is severely tested.
