Right after the draft, I believed the only drafted player that might find difficulty in making the final roster was Reed and that was because so much salary cap was invested into the safety position. What floors me is the UDFA retention as well as EVERY draft pick making the team.
When you get younger, you get cheaper, or better put, the cap is much easier to manage. You also become more unpredictable and less consistent. Regardless, I really like the direction that this team is going. This team is the best argument against the notion that you have to tank to rebuild. The Seahawks are rebuilding and playing to win at the same time, but that is just Pete, and that is why I love him as a coach. Pete would never, ever harbor the idea of tanking for a draft class.
