So dumb not to have protected sheriff

I’m ok with him being released and quickly signed elsewhere. The last time this team had any castoffs signed elsewhere and those castoffs contributed anything to their new team was back in 2013. A guy like Sheriff, who picked up steam in camp and obviously made a name for himself, lends credence to the notion that this team has some talent and not all that talent is going to be able to be kept around.
When other teams want your castoffs, it means you are doing something right.

Good way to look at it. I'm most certain, JS and MM and staff pondered long into the night with whom they couldn't afford to let go. The fact that there are obviously talented players being released should make us as fans rejoice. It hasn't been this way for a long time.
