I will be away in Italy until the 18th, will check in periodically but will be slow updating.

You guys are awesome with posting the info so catching up won’t be too onerous.

Thanks to you all in advance

Leaving doesn't seem to be too bad but hope you don't have a problem getting back in! Lots and lots of people having trouble with that.

Being 9 hours ahead with the time change here it’s day when most of you all are asleep. South Italy is very different from Rome and the northern cities. Beautiful places at times. Planes trains and automobiles though.

The border stuff shouldn’t be a problem, but for sure Orangeman is screwing things up so he can look like he’s actually accomplishing something

Thanks to you both, you are all so very dependable and appreciated!!!

Those day two draft picks are always a bit slower to sign as the slotting is less clear to the agents and some contract terms, like offsets, are less readily agreeable.

Updated (but for identifying colours).

Spotrac has all the UDFA bonuses, so I'm going to engage in some cap minutia, so stop reading if you can't be bothered with the small details.

Here are the bonuses paid to the UDFAs who are still on our roster. 3 guys were signed who were tryout players and as of now I don't think any of them received a bonus (which is usual). C Connor O'Toole received the largest bonus and also $234K of his salary guaranteed, so wins the "8th Round Draft Pick" award, which I've tried to figure out over the years. D.D. Lewis was the winner one year and he played some decent ball for us.

I thought $234,000 was an oddly specific number to guarantee, then I realized that that practice squad weekly pay in 2025 is $13,000 which over 18 weeks would be $234,000. These guys are being treated as if they would at least expect them to be on a practice squad for the Seahawks or some other team. Remember, if the Seahawks waive a player and they get picked up by another team the Seahawks would be off the hook for those guarantees.

One other note -- two originally UDFAs were signed then cut after mini-camp. T.J. Jackson and Jackson Woodard. I'm not seeing exactly what their signing bonuses were, but I do know that I'm off by exactly $12,000 compared to the NFLPA public report, so I'm inferring that between those two guys their bonuses added up to $12K. $6K each or some combination thereof.
