Six players put on NFI list.

They are:
DT- Rylie Mills
CB- Zy Aleaxander
WR- Montorie Foster
WR- Tyrone Broden
LB- D'Eryk Jackson
CB- Isas Waxlter

Cornerback Zy Alexander, wide receiver Tyrone Broden, wide receiver Montorie Foster, linebacker D’Eryk Jackson, and cornerback Isas Waxter are the undrafted free agent signings who have not passed their physicals.

All these players are rookies and I'd expect them to pass their physicals relatively quickly or they'll be gone to IR or PUP.

Thanks kidhawk, your contributions here always appreciated!!!

This roster move was somewhat expected and it'd seem likely he'll be back activated before the end of TC and ready to roll when the fur flies.

Thanks Jville, this is great news, much appreciated!!!

Hopefully with the other 2nd round signings now happening the team's other second round pick TE- Arroyo will soon be signed as well.

FIFY

I’m sure Arroyo is next up on John’s todo list

For sure.

There is now a formula for calculating the guaranteed money for these 2nd rd. picks with the various other signings that have happened over the past few days.

Git 'er dun.

Suspect the thin edge of the wedge is now in place going forward to see at least the top 10 of the 2nd rd. begin getting mostly guaranteed deals.

This once again puts a premium on ensuring the early pick are good players who stay healthy. In the end it’s more of a pure cap problem for the league but the door was opened by the first two deals of the 2nd round.

Thanks kidhawk, just noticed that now, always appreciated!!!

Fant was clearly not playing up to his contract and was not that solid a blocker so he was a move TE that wasn’t catching that many balls. It was rumbled he was on the roster bubble. Seems the team is not afraid to rip off the band-aid.

If you get paid well you need to play well, Fant wasn’t.
