For sure I understand the thinking but is he still any good b/c of his several leg injuries?

Thanks my friend, as ever always appreciated!!!

Seems somewhat apparent another team wanted to snag Bell off the PS, or the Hawks really wanted to ensure he got kept. The team for sure is taking advantage of every opportunity to massage the roster, churn, churn. Keeps us busy but ensures continuity.

Been burned twice this season with guys that were used in the rotation, shit is real now we don't want that to happen again.

Derrick Hall should be reinstated today so there will need to be an off-setting move. Sounds like Cody White may wind up on IR.

Lately the the team has been a bit slower in announcing various roster moves that appear somewhat obvious as there appears to be genuine roster concerns as to the morale of the team in losing one way or another those fringe players who add that team spirit and competitive force to the need for roster change at positions of some competitive weakness.

Derek Hall is no longer suspended and as a result a cut, waiver, or iR move is needed to have the team compliant with roster limits. To me as you both observe above, that Hall is reinstated and Cody White is placed on IR seems obvious, but the injuries at WR with Horton and now possibly Shaheed make the White loss to IR without the certainty of Horton’s return somewhat more of a concern.

I have a sense they’ll do more with the announcement to come though I expect White to be the initial player to be named. The delay in announcing is to my mind strategic.

We do have some WR depth on the PS we can activate on gameday. We currently have the following 4 receivers ready to go

JSN
Kupp
Bobo
Young

Add 1 of two from the PS on gameday would give us 5 (6 if Shaheed gets cleared).

They may be waiting to see if Shaheed has any chance to clear the concussion protocol to make any big decisions

At present Derick Hall is reinstated but on the commissioner’s exempt list. I’m not sure how long that will last but expect some roster moves today.

The team does have WR depth as you observe but White is a lot faster than the others save Horton who is still out.

With some luck and rest hopefully Shaheed will be ready for the 9ers.🤌🏽

A couple of ex-Seahawks signing elsewhere. Martinez was a little curious to me as he didn't look terrible in pre-season after the Seahawks drafted him, but was clearly behind Holani and Jacardia Wright. Well, both those guys are hurt but Martinez never got a sniff back here and hasn't been on anyone's PS since being cut loose by Seattle in September. There's always part of the story we'll never know. John Schneider doen't draft guys unless he sees them as legit players but something was clearly off on this guy.
