As expected Bell was signed to the practice squad.

guard Sataoa Laumea Released to make space

Also, FB Wesley Steiner was waived from IR with an injury settlement.
Wow Sataoa Laumea just fell of the earth

Thanks kidhawk, as ever much appreciated!!!

Updated.

Here's another report: https://www.fieldgulls.com/seattle-...-shaquill-griffin-release-cody-white-nfl-news

This may have its genesis in the thought of demotion of Riq Woolen after his disappointing play of last Sunday. I suspect Cody White will be back on the 53 before very long.

The team's active depth at CBs deepened while there is the return to health of WRs Bobo and Young.

Abe Lucas contract details are now posted on OTC. Really favorable for the Seahawks, as no guaranteed money after 2025. Signing bonus was $11.21M and the next 3 years have per game roster bonuses $60K per games, which really helps protect the team from future injuries.

His 2025 base reduced from $3,406,000 to $1,280,000.

Total 3 year extension is $45.7M but only $12.49 guaranteed.Screenshot 2025 09 16 071858

Thanks John, always appreciate your input.

This seems like a pretty team friendly deal, let's hope Lucas stays healthy.

So let me see if I understand what's happening here -

We are rotating guys on and off the practice squad so they can get paid and thus enticing them to stick around the area? Thereby - in effect - having a back up practice squad full of guys who already know the system to varying degrees?

Thanks John!!!

Almost every one of the OLine guys the team has had here have been picked up elsewhere.

The Hawks to add a veteran OG to the PS:

Here's another report:

Not sure who the player to be released from the PS will be yet. We won't know until Lemieux is actually added to the PS.

Updating.

I liked this guy. He was a fighter .
Frankly I did too, and he was elevated to being a starter yet fell out of favour. Perhaps the more physical style of OG like Bradford or Lemieux is the direction the team wanted to go.
