IMO what we need most importantly is someone that Sam and MM can work well with.

I don’t know who that would be, but it’s the most critical consideration.

Happy for KK but not happy with the timing. Focus should be entirely on Sunday's game, which is what they've been working toward all year. They couldn't have waited one week to announce this?

This is nothing new. Not sure why people are acting like it is. This isn't a Seattle thing, this is an NFL thing. Your team makes the SB, your team is gonna' have their coaches plucked. To each his/her own, but I'm not even mildly worried. This team is always focused, not gonna' change this week. Welcome to the SB, it is ALWAYS about created distractions. NOTHING NEW.

To me, NO coaches should be able to get signed until after the SB, none of them. Even playing field for all 32 teams. But that's just not how it is, and it likely won't change.

I’m annoyed by it because pretty much everyone.. regardless of rules are basic saying “Klint Kubiak IS the next Headcoach of the raiders” I’m annoyed by it because the interviewing team has to come visit, instead he was seen with Mark Davis in LV habit dinner.

Im annoyed by it because LV and the Media not only have confirmed it but have skirted the ******* rules to announce it, during the teams BIGGEST WEEK.

Lastly
F the NFL for allowing it and not shutting shit down
F Kraft and whatever media outlets he owns
F Mark Davis
F The Raiders
F Kubiak (I get he wants a Promotion, but don’t spew nonsense about “winning A LOT of games In and with Seattle when you clearly have 1 foot out the door!) F him more if we loose the SB, and F him if he takes Durde and Benton.

My sentiments exactly.

Because the Super Bowl IS a different game, ask anyone who's ever played in one. We have one or two guys who have played, but for nearly everyone on the roster, this will be their first. Fortunately, the same is true for the Pats' (the players anyway).

The Raiders have their own stuff to worry about and don't have any real reason to care about whether we're distracted.

Correct but how many examples can be shown of these coaches being poached and the teams and league are announcing it with the *pending contract agreement or whatever during the middle of thier SB weeks? Almost none. Speculation sure but almost every media source league including the NFL is saying “it’s a done deal just waiting for him to sign.” “kint Kubiak the next Raiders head coach”

Or how about when we were getting Macdonald, DURING the ravens playoffs Mike wasn’t flying to Seattle for diner and interviews. Js was flying there. There’s been heavy rule bending in this stuff involving KK. You didn’t see headlines “Mike Macdonald the next Seahawks head coach!” It wasn’t announced and no headlines until AFTER the ravens were eliminated

Very true. And I'm sure KK knows what a sh!t organization he's heading into, regardless of the opportunity to rebuild from scratch with a franchise QB in tow.

Organizations tend to look a lot less like sh!t when they have a QB. The Bills job was considered one of the worst until very recently.

They could interview, both Raiders and Cards flew up here to do so, contract talk and all those negotiations have to wait till after the Superbowl, now has any of that happened, Kubiak I am sure has a agent of some sort that is doing it, and we all know how rules get bent like a horseshoe in the NFL. Lets throw in the fact we have Brady and his soft balls as a owner there and has been watching Kubiak for a few weeks calling the games. Working for Mike I am sure he has tried to keep on the up and up, but the media and all of that is relentless.

I'm happy for Kubiak. I think it's absolutely the right decision for him. He's worked hard for this.
I understand taking the gig - but damn. The Raiders? I wish him the best in trying to rid that franchise of its loser stench.

Not optimistic for him however.

Trying to get the "Suck" out of the raiders is like trying to get cigarette stink out of an rental.

Except for the problem of it being Mark and not Al owning and controling the Franchise the Raiders would be a great Gig, new facilities, willing to spend, having cap room to spend, willing to swing for the fences on trades at times, too much sometimes granted. They also have a winning history, just not of late. Mark has been trying to be his dad, I think finally he has figured out he is not, now he brought Brady and some others in to evaluate coaching and talent. We will see.

Wild card, Kliff Kingsbury

Seems like a very good possibility. Apparently he didn't get along with Dan Quinn, and most felt he would leave for a HC position fairly quickly. So if we end up with him, it's probably short-term, and with his HC background, who knows if he's going to work well with a defense-minded HC?

Thing is, promoting from in the building doesn't often work. So Kingsbury might be a solid safe choice for a year or two.

I was listening to the Carr brothers, and they think Andrew Janocko should be our OC. Derek had his as a qb coach with the saints, and thinks he’s a really good coach.
