Agree, only issue is we will be a month later this year and the pickings will be even slimmer.

So hopefully Peetz checks the right boxes. He and Darnold can sit together this offseason and work out next year's offense.

I'm happy for Kubiak. I think it's absolutely the right decision for him. He's worked hard for this.

Jesus, i wont read any news.
Many reports say that its more than possible that Durde will be his DC with playcalls.
Benton also gone (maybe OC)
Also new News about the Team will be sold.
So much Noise before the SB

Yeah, I’m sure the Raiders wanted Kubiak after they saw the now superstar of Darnold and the phenomenal growth of JSN.

We will lose Kubiak, I hope, we have a contingency plan at OC that continues the success for the offense.
Raiders are dumb.

Kubiak isn't bringing Darnold with him nor is he bringing JSN.

That team is not going anywhere for the next couple of seasons (or more).

Nothing but love and respect for Kubes, let's send him out a Superbowl Champion
Of course.

I'm not going to be bitter here.

Glad he's being recognized and is given the oppty he wanted.

I just hate that we couldn't hold onto him for a couple of more seasons.

depends if this ends up a distraction and he flops the Offense in the SB, and we drop the ball like Shanahan did in ATL (his head was in SF during that SB) then fans will want blood lol

I don't think MM would remotely let that happen, Quinn didn't have command of the culture in ATL the way MM does

I hope Kubiak returns from that dumpster fire before Darnold leaves.

Figures. The one year we finally get everyone to shut up with the endless playcalling bitching and the guy responsible leaves immediately. Suppose I can't expect him to stay though.

MM and JS have us.

MM for sure.

I’m not worried in the least bit and there’s nothing anyone can do to stop this SuperBowl win.

Between this and the Seahawks getting put up for sale, I really don't get it. You'd think everyone involved with this team would want to avoid distractions.

This is a business and Seattle has some players and coaches raising their stock!

Team selling is known and a non issue.

Players will want to send Kubiak out in style!

Sure it' known. Just wondering why it couldn't have waited until after the SB. Only thing known for sure with any of this - $$$$$$$$

As far as raising stock, there must be a massive difference between Seahawk OC pay and Raider HC pay, because spending another year with a top-tier HC would have been invaluable for Kubiak, and the job opps will absolutely be better after next season. AFC West is not the place to head right now.

I would eagerly anticipate Colin Cowherd's take tomorrow morning, but now that I've learned he's a Yankees fan, I'm done with him. (I come here for all the fan facts).

I'm more in favor of keeping Justin Outten and promoting him to O.C.

1) He's a former center. He works with the O-line. He works with the RBs. If Benton leaves, I want someone that knows how to develop O-linemen and continue the run game. Outten has played a huge part in this.

2) He has been an O.C before. Called plays before. Though, in small samples.

3) He is well versed in the West Coast Shanahan/McVay system. Has worked under plenty of coaches under those trees.

**This being said. I still see Arthur Smith as the O.C.

Arthur Smith just got hired on at Ohio State as the OC.
