I don’t see him coming in and dominating but, the Hawks have a tendency of letting weird shit happen to them…at least, we saw this a few times in the PC era: “first nfl catch is a TD!!”, “first time with 150 receiving yards “, “ rookie WR goes for 160+”….

The biggest threat may be our guys not taking the Colts as a real challenge. After dominating our last two opponents, it would be easy to ‘take it easy’. I think MM has a firm handle on that though.

I’ll shat my pants if Rivers throws for 300 on us.

I don’t expect to put my Wet Wipes to use though…
There it was…”…throws a TD pass for the first time in 5 years.”.

Let's be real here. He couldn't throw, the only td they had involved throws my 10 year old could make. That being said, he was smart and got them into favorable situations. That ended in the second half though and had our offense been able to get in the damned end zone this game wouldn't have been close.

He threw as much as he needed to. They designed enough of a plan for them to win with him.

As I stated in another thread. Their game plan was to run or dump it in under 1.5 seconds. It was all clock control and only works if we play into it by not scoring TD's. The second half they only scored the last minute 60 yarder that they had to kick. He could not throw, when they finally had to have him throw he threw an old man Manning duck. But they knew that, which is why they game planned the way they did.

You weren't surprised Seattle couldn't even muster up a TD? I was.
Have you not watched us against the 9ers, Rams, Vikes. Etc. ?

No. I was not surprised in the slightest . It's how we have performed when the defense we are playing is good and the opposing team has some semblance of an offense.

Before today we were 0-3 against 'bonafied' winning competition and in each of those games (bucs being the exception) we looked anemic on offense. We also looked anemic for significant stretches against the Falcons, Titans, and Vikings.

I think there might be something to Brandon Mebane 's claiming Darnold has a tell when he is going to pass that defenses have figured out. Don't know what it is, but something is obviously very wrong on O.

Was proud though how Sam played. Absent 2 bad throws, I think he played a solid, solid game, all things considered.

The back shoulder toss to get them to go ahead looked pretty good to me. So did the TD pass.

Sure. He didn't have the velocity on the ball, but their plan wasn't predicated on him whipping the ball down the field on a rope. He needed to distribute to the easy open guy to keep the chains moving and in a spot or two. Make a play. He made 2, both to score critical points.

Gotta add…their kicker set his his longest FG ever against us.

Another first…at least I think it’s a first…Coby intercepted a grandpa 🤓.

Seahawks games continue to be ‘weird’

Philip Rivers ends a 2025 game by throwing an INT to Coby Bryant would have been a weird thing to hear in 2020.

Definitely solid.

I’m fearful of the offense stalling out come playoff time. I don’t think we can afford these types of first half offensive production (or lack thereof).

A win is a win is a win in the NFL. Not going to be mad at a dub.

But, if we don’t consistently produce on O, it may be an early exit.

What i dont get....If SD needs to run like he did in against ATL, they need to let him and he needs to be encouraged to. Today when he took off it looked as if he had his ass chewed and suddenly remembered the chewing and changed his mind

I didn't see him get chewed out. If he was being talked to, maybe it was because he didn't slide on the one play where he got clobbered.
