I am trying to be as purely objective as possible here.

A Geno fanboy wouldn't caveat half his posts with "I think Geno is not a long-term starter in the NFL and is a slightly below average starter at his very best."

A Geno fanboy wouldn't make a post last week saying "don't use box score stats alone, because Geno did as well on the stat sheet but Lock looked better in actuality."

I was way off the mark here. Geno rocks.

That's how you do it.

It's all good, bro. I'm all for getting over who was right or who was wrong. At the end of the day we all are happy that the Seahawks are exceeding most of our expectations.

The Seahawks are one of the most exciting teams to watch every gameday and how great is that?

Go Hawks!

True, watching as many games as possible, look at the shit the NFL is putting up on prime time as the "top" teams.

The Hawks are exciting creative, motivated, and playing good or better football than most of the teams in the NFL right now.

If you a a true HAWK fan you gotta love this.

After what we saw last year, I though GS would be a disaster. But with two solid tackles giving him time, and the offense catering to his strength, he has been great. I’d be all for giving him a new contract.

I'll admit it, I definitely wasn't eating at Geno's at the start of the season-

Geno never showed anything like his current play at any point in his career. I am ecstatic he is playing like this but no rational person saw this coming. Its an absolutely incredible transformation of his career. I am enjoying it thoroughly.

I don't even care about the record this year. It's likely we'll fall off a bit but I'm going to enjoy every second of it. We are going to be a Tasmanian devil next year though. For all of you calling this 2011 you were right.

? Yes, I've posted optimistic opinions about next year before, sure. I can stop if you need me to.

Edit : I think I misunderstood. I'm sorry bud.

No it is cool I posted that this is 2011 all over again in many threads previously and that next year would be 2012 and then SB. I now think this may be actually 2012 and have a chance at sb in next 2 years

Geno has been in the league for ten years, but there weren't many "points" in his career. He has only played a handful of games in those ten years, too small a sampling for the world to have declared him a bust. He is finally getting the opportunity and he is definitely making the most of it. Looks like a lot of QB needy teams overlooked a treasure over that time period..

He was an absolute stud in college. I think poor coaching delayed his development. This man is throwing darts out there. He's always had the talent, it's looking like he just needed a minute, a great coach and a good scheme.

Carroll saw it. We saw the potential last season when he filled in for RW....and that was just him coming off the bench without the prep a starting franchise QB would have. Though I never posted it on this forum, I felt it was a possibility that Geno could be a good QB. He has the mechanics, the touch, and there is not a throw he can't make. I was just concerned about his decision making, but it seems like someone has helped him with that.

Maturity delayed his development.

Hell, I was seen as one of the most overly-generous in evaluating Geno, and my posts read like straight insults to Geno's caliber now. It's wacky.

Not even sure this is fair
He wasnt that bad last year being thrown in the fire
With the way he is playing, not sure it matters the offense. He's at the top of his game
